if you look at the top pic in the post, you'll see that it's baize..or tan colored. That's actually cloth or some form. They don't actually cut off the entire roof but just cover over the hard roof with the cloth.
I'm not sure but i think i've seen them in leather? --anyone got idea?
I don't know who did it first but in some applications and definitely some other cars...it looks hot!

ragtop:
1. Refers to converitbles--has a rag---cloth covering instead of folding or removable hardtop
2. Refers to the moon roof-- has cloth instead of hard surfarce or glass
3. What the camry pic showed...not actually a "convertible" covers the hartop-not replacing it but is after the same look.. ... nice on some some cars...tacky on others.....definitely looks tacky when it gets old.
