4th Generation Blue Head Light

I want to make my headlights blueish. What are things I need to know, cuz I have no clue at all I don't what I should do but I know that I am not spend BIG BUCKS on projectors and stuff. I thought that all I need is to get 7000k colour output bulbs and replace my oem ones? Any models or numbers that I should notice to ensure the fitment?

Edit: What about brands? Do they matter much?

Thanks.

rember to look at wattage that the bulbs draw, the wire in the car are rated up to 65w each the 85w bulbs they sell on ebay will burn up the harnest over time.

well as far as brands go... you'd be best getting the "cool blue" "lazer blue" etc etc from your auto stores if you're looking for a blueish tint in teh color, or if you really want pure white light, get silverstars!

EDIT:
Generic Auto Store Brand, Sylvania, GE... are the brands that you'd be best looking for
^i.e. Napa, etc.

I have cool blue sylvanias for my lows and the silverstars for the highs. They are very white and HIDish (At least the silverstars are)

The blue tint on the bulbs is to equal out the color fields to make the light appear pure white.

Cool Blue, Xenon, etc... do not shine blue.

yea, "xenon" bulbs are basically blueish, if you really want that color then go with something like that.
