newb wit a few intake questions.

1st off i have a 2000 camry 4cyl and wan to put an intake on. I've only seen short ram intakes for it. does anyone know if a cold air intake is even made for it. and 2nd i looked on ebay at short ram intakes the injen went for around $200 and the no name went for around $10 anyone know of a big difference in quality. and 3rd does a short ram even do anything sound or power wise. Thanks

short ram will sound good at higher RPMs, it'll improve throttle response, but it will add very little (if anything) in terms of power.

Cold air will help a little more in terms of power. Either way the overall difference in power will be negligable (maybe maybe 2hp to the wheels with a CAI).

on mine it makes a low hum. Its noticable that its different, its not loud though. Soon as you floor it and the throttle body opens up more it makes a deeper sound then.
