New Struts/Springs (Searched Already)

I have searched the forums all the way to page 16 of the search and didn't find what I needed. I'm sure it's there somewhere but I didn't find it. I am looking to upgrade my struts and springs to give my car a more sporty feel it is a 96 le and has the 5sf-fe 2.2, so it will never be a rocket while I have it, and since it is going to be a hand me down car when my bro gets his liscense (I get a new one when I graduate) I don't want to spend a lot of money on it. What would be the best for me? I am looking at the KYB GR-2s and the Tokico blues. Do I need cartriges, whole struts? What about springs? The car was driven by my grandma and she drove like a grandma (We went on a 1 and a half hour drive and she was 20 minutes behind us). Also, what is the best place to buy them?

Thanks,
Nathan

you can try KYB struts gr-2, is cheap since you don't want to spend a lot money on it. for springs you can try eibach or tein, i heard those are pretty good. and you can go www.tirerack.com and buy the struts or springs.
i hope those info helps you and guys correct me if i'm wrong thanks^^

kinda rough...tokico's are a responsive strut and the stock springs havea lot of bounce with them.....KYB's would be the choice for that combo

So let me get this straight. If I were to put Eibachs on my gen4, it'd go best with Tokico struts. But if I bought the gr2's, I could use them with my stock springs? I think I ought to replace both but you guys probably know better than me. Also how long do struts and springs generally last? Because I doubt my springs have ever been replaced, and as for the struts, I'm sure it's been a lot longer than it should be. When I replace the struts, should I also look into replacing the strut mount?
