Actualy you can fit the TRD supercharger on a 1994-1996 Camry V6 but it takes some fine tuning to make it work well.Right now the superchargers are around 2200-2500 depending on the place and i find its realy worth it for the nice gains it gives.the S/C cost me 150$ for the rental of a lift and 4 hours of work from my friends at the dealer.

this is canadian pricing? I live in toronto...and am very interested in building a sleeper like your car!
the SC fits on the gen3 camrys too!
look at this pic...assuming that i can post it:
if that doesnt work then check the link http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/Jason_Gibson2.jpg
if it fits on a gen3, then i want the gen3 instead....as it is cheaper to buy, and in my eyes it looks better!
It is not designed to fit in the gen 3. Gibson did some custom work for it to work I believe, and then he had a few problems. I don't know if he has totally ironed them out yet. But you might want to talk to him first before buying a gen 3. But you are right, gen 3's look better and were actually stronger too. Gen 4 used slightly cheaper parts to make the car more affordable. It still did not compromize anything to any of the other car manufacturers in terms of quality.
Good luck with your hunt. Whereabouts in TO are you from?

The supercharger 2200-2500$ US,as for the Gen4 being cheaper then the gen3 i would say for some parts yes but overal it is safer has more room and has a better engine setup with a better ECU.I have looked a many Gen3 Camry's and i have never seen anything that makes it better then my Gen4.So Anish please stop with the quality crap its getting me pissed..
Ben, yes technology in gen 4 is better which is why it is gen 4... it is newer. However Camry was getting quite high priced in gen 3 which is why gen 4 had to make some compromises to bring the price back down. I know this for a fact because I was buying a car in 1997 so I did do my research. There is basically no difference in overall quality between gen 3 and gen 4 so I don't think there is any reason to start an argument over nothing. If Vernon was here I'm sure he'd post some of his crash test results to show you what I mean.
You still have a badass gen 4 that is supercharged so stop being a big baby

Shaun, putting in the SC would be possible, but not necessarily advisable in terms of long term reliability issues. It's simply not designed to be put on that car. Props to Gibson for making it work, but if you don't have a mechanical background, I wouldn't advise it.
