3rd Generation Oil leak again

Several months ago i had an oil leak somewhere around the valve cover, it was burning oil when the car was on an incline (i got a 1996 camry le 5sfe)... so toyota replaced the gasket there. and wallah, basicaly fixed the problem...

well in the cars new driveway, lately every time i back out of the driveway, i'm finding oil spots on the driveway... ... i thought it got fixed... now i'm thinking maybe its the head gasket... any ideas?

Theres never a perfect seal.... My camry leaks a little after a road trip or "hard" workout But its just kinda natural, and if its not a lot you shouldn't really worry about it I think. It happens.

Where are the oil spots in relation tothe motor?

Center - its the distributor o-ring or rear crank seal

Passenger wheel - its the front crank seal, cam seal, or oil pump bearing or o-ring.

Between the two - it might be the oil filter, pan drain or filler cap.

Do you change your own oil? And if u do, how much do you put in? If you put in anymore than the recomended amount, it will leak out causing damage on its way out.

rear main seal leak?
mine had the same prob. oil crept up from that leak to that area cos of the air that goes through the engine while driving
back of engine was oily, changed the rear main seal and that fixed the prob.

The head gasket should not allow much oil to leak. Oil would have to get by the rings or the valves first and you'd see blue smoke out the back end.
