Gen5 ah! These paints dont mix!!

for over a month now. ive been trying to make this work.. Im using Krylon Stained Glass Red paint and Krylon Clear Coat. I sprayed the top part of the tail light so that its red now and so it matched the middle portion.. leavin only the white reverse strip on the bottom.. then i masked off the white portion and sprayed the middle and top portions of the tail light giving it a more deep red look to it.. the first time i did this.. i let it dry for 1 night.. then applied a clear coat.. and it seems that these 2 paints do not mix.. i thought it was jss cuz i dint wait long nuff.. it came out that the paints mixed together.. it was like.. attacking each other. the paint began to wrinkle a few minutes after applied.. so i sanded it all down.. applied another coat of red stained glass so it was smooth again.. sanded it lightly again... then let it dry for 2-3 days.. i took it into a enclosed area and applied a clear coat and the same shit happened.. the paint begins to wrinkle and as if it was peeling off.. so i dont know if there is a way to get around this but shit. lol im done with it.. ima jss sand it down 1 more time and.. i don tknow yet.. maybe juss buffer it til its super shiny.. this is jss to let yal know that these 2 paints dont mix, so dont try it!!

what happened is that you didn't let it dry enough, and your coats were too heavy. by the way, theres a better colour to use. It's Made by Duplicolor, its called Metalcast, the colour is Anodized Red. trust me i've seen it and used it on my tiburon '03 to go over the orange, best colour match.
