Hit up the Camry FAQ, short answer is unless you're modifying the harness too don't run the high-watt bulbs. For what it's worth, I have Sylvania Cool Blue 9005's (65 watt), and they made a lot of difference.

I don't think you would want to run high wattage bulbs on stock wiring harness. That might not be a good thing in the end.

your 9005 bulb actually produces more lumins than your 9006 at only 5~10 more watts no matter what the total wattage of the bulb. If you upgrade the harnesses to run higher wattage bulbs you might as well still do the conversion anyways.

Yes. Cops will pull ya over. Those cheap ricer bulbs give off a distinct blue hue and there are going to be pigs out there who just love to pull people over for having blue/"hyperwhite" bulbs.

If you're going for the ultimate white and distance (without doing a projector retrofit), I'd suggest geting a pair of 9005 Silverstars and modding those. Make sure you aim otherwise you'll still be blinding folks on the road. G'luck with your mod. Post if you need help doing it...

I speak from experience....

YES. Just two days ago I replaced mine stock 93 headlights with a crystal ones. Then I changed mine stock headlight harness with a high wattage 9005 harnes. Then I bought a pair of 9005 Silverstars and put it in mine low beams. So with all that mine lights are bright at night and it is as close to go to HID without expensive kits and projectors. I am very happy with output.
