Making a straight pipe for the secound cat in 3Gen

Has anyone done this? I was changing the oil on my 92' Camry and notice that the secound catback is connected by bolts. I was thinking of removing it and just going out to Home Depot. and buying a pipe then mold it to the exuast?

Worth trying? Since I got to cash to spend on the car, I figure I could get an extra 3-6hp by myself.

yea , thats a good idea i did though you might want to take it to an exhaust shop so the can make it a flanged straight pipe for you because depending on what type of exhaust you have it make make the sound bad and then you can just use it on track days, and its not a very legal thing so it is convennient to be able to bolt your cat back on. but you can feel the differwnce in power.
