buying paint

I really want to get the vizages grill for my gen5 camry. i would assume it comes primed, however, i still would need to buy some silver paint so that i wouldnt have to pay a shop mad moneys for mixing it for me, not to mention taking a risk like it not matching the rest of the body.

Okay so my question is where can i get silver toyota camry paint? any websites or anything else you guys know of would be cool. also if you know about how much it would cost for the paint. i have some ins with a couple shops (alot of my friends are into tuning), so i could probably get away with getting the grill painted cheap if i can suply the paint.

any help, thanks

To the thread starter^ are u painting it to match your car? Go to any local autopaint shop and look at the paint chips for all makes and models of cars. Once you find it go w/ either Omni or Matrix brand paint. It's goes on just as good as PPG at a 1/4 of the price.

Youngstylez-you would probably use just a pint depending on how many coats u use. If u don't feel sure it's not gonna be enough to cover and make sure u have a little for touch ups then go w/ a qt.. Also go w/ either Matrix or Omni brand paints.

I would say 3 cans of the "Autozone" or "Strauss" paint, maybe like 1.5-2 of quality paint. Remember to let the paint properly dry before applying following layers.
