Gen5 TRD Rear Sway Bar Damage

I am going to get a TRD Rear Sway Bar for my Gen 5. There are three settings on it that i've researched. I want to know if i put it on the "most handling" street setting, will it affect my struts, mounts, springs, ect. compared to putting it on the other settings. Will they wear out faster because of the bar's force?

And also, does anyone know which aftermarket part TRD rebandaged for the strut brace and sway bar?

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

I've had it at the "most handling" since I got it. I have not noticed wear, but the ride is rougher. I'd grease it up good, though. I initially put enough to put a light layer on the bushings when I installed it and it squeaked a lot. I had to take them off and apply more to them.

I'm just guessing, but I think hotchkis makes the TRD sway bar.

installed trd rear anti swaybar on 2000 solara five years ago and really like the difference in handling but!!! now the bushings are worn. two local dealerships tell me I have to buy a new swaybar as the bushings are not sold separately. doesnt make sense! Any ideas where these can be purchased ???

You can try Hotchkis, PST (Performance Suspension Technology), Energy Suspension, Prothane, etc...

I've had my TRD RSB on my '06 I4 Special Edition LE for over two months now set in the autocross setting. It works great and is noise free. I can't believe how much of a difference it's made. I'm very happy.

+1 I agree with that one, the TRD rear sway bar was the best thing I bought for my car. I had it on medium for street, but I decided that i wanted the extra umph when I turn, so I set it on track after and never looked back -- the car turns like a dream now. Going 35's on 15's (corner turns into streets), 40's at 30's(fwy on/off ramp) and 60's at 30's (zanker exit off the 237 in Milpitas/santa clara).
