Custom cam gears and pulleys

Just wondering if it is a good idea to get custom made cam gears and pulleys. It is made of billet alumimum (I think). Will there be any consequences or drawbacks to getting these or a good thing to do. Would this be a good idea to get more horsepower? This person will basically take off the pulley's and can gears and make aluminum ones, that are basically the same size but a lot lighter than factory ones. I know that there is only those unorthodox pulley, but not much else.

If the person is going to be making them the same size, there is no problem. I have heard with the unorthodox ones, since they are smaller, you have to buy a new belt.

Cam gears won't do anything for our engines because of the design. The exhaust cam on our engines is driven off the intake cam by a internal gear. Theres only 1 cam gear which is bolted to the intake cam.

You can adjust the internal gears, but then your valve timing will be off and the car will run like sh*t.

Its not like on the GE head's were you have 2 cam gears. Our engines (FE) only have one.

Unorthodox makes aluminum crank pulleys. Their smaller and lighter then stock so they underdrive your accessories (alternator, powersteering, and a/c).

I know that this may be considered a cross-post with "pulley install...HELP!!!", but... Does anyone actually have the Ultra S Street Crank Pulley installed? If so, is it worth it?
