i'm running aftermarket rims off an evo. not even sure of the name. 17x8 maybe 8 1/2. 235 tire which came on the rims. when they are done ill probably go wider. some like a 20 or 30 something offset. only bad thing is that the tires rub in the rear. i still have to roll the fenders.

with coilovers and camber plates i was able to fit 17x9.5 ( with 265-40/17 tires)in the fronts and 17x9 in the back but the offset escapes me... I did camber the hell out of the front ...
Got 18x8s with proper offset. The rear is *tight*. I have 1/8"-1/4" between the strut and wheel in the rear. I'm scared of more offset...8 is it for me.
Sean has some big hoosiers mounted for racing. Sean can correct me, I think they're like 15*8 and he said that's all they'll take without big problems.

Yea, i had to use spacers with them, the edges of the tires stick out a lot from the rim, so they did rub without the spacers quite a bit.
15x25x8 slicks, 15x7 wheels
I have used 18x8s with no problem at all, 235s

Lucan: You have 8.5" wide rims and only 215's?????

nah my rims werent that expensive. i bought them from someone. and they were from a cheap company like rota (but it wasn't them). they give the car a nice look and handling is great. like i said with the offset (since they are an evo offset) the rear tires rub the outside of the fender and the fronts seem to stick out of the fenders just a tad. gives it a wider stance. just gotta throw some wider rubber on there and get the back taken care of.
18x8 with a 51+ offest in the front and 18x8 with a 39+offest in the rear. 225-40-18 all the way around.
