The other day, a bird nearly missed my windshield, only to get caught by my antenna at 120Kph. needless to say the bird was killed an so was my antenna. Hence the idea to replace it with an S2000 one.

i've read some threads about it and it's a go for me.

ASG14 gives a sommation of part numbers here.
Can anyone confirm if the first one is correct please?

Celica sub-antenna (includes bracket) - PN 86309-20300
S2000 antenna - PN 39151-S2H-E01
Celica antenna nut - PN 86396-20030

The celica nut one seems to be ok, but my dealer couldn't find the sub antenna one. (changed the rear numbers to match, but no game)

Or could the original camry sub antenna be modded? (if yes, how?)

btw, during what years was the 7th gen celica's built ? does anyone perhaps have a chassis number?

7th gen is 00-present

the PN for the S2k antenna element is correct. Unfortunately i don't have a toyota parts catalog, so i can't verify the other two for you

BTW, if anyone has a link to a downloadable toyota parts catalog, i'd really appreciate it.

No pics, it happened on the highway. At that time i was just happy i missed the bird.
The surprise came afterwards, when i parked my car. The antenna was bent to a 30° angle. The top part of the antenna, was curbed. Seeing that, i imagined it must have hurt the bird pretty bad. i only hope it killed it at once.

damn, so no way of getting them thru dealership here...
i'm gonna try to pick up an antenna tomorrow and improvise, i'll let you know how it went (that might not be tomorrow).

thanks for everyones input, extra info on how to use the camry bracket is welcome

havn't gotten to it yet, getting parts is hard here, plus i still have to figure out how to mount it to the stock power sub antenna. (if possible at all)
