Car Studders When Accelerating

When accelerating, my car studders like for a few second, then goes, when I hit around 65mph it kinda shakes and feels like crap

I was told that my tranny is f-up

What do you think

Start out small, do a tune up: oil, plugs, filters, seafoam. Then seafoam tranny or get it flushed. that is cheaper and by the way you vaguely describe the problem I would say start out sheaper and if you have to end up replacing the tranny then at least the rest will have already been done.

Is it sputtering as in power or holding the gear? Power = Tune up Gear not holding = Tranny
