Moonroof Info

Just a tid bit of info for anyone that searches for moonroof or sunroof info.

I had to replace the glass in my 95LE moonroof, and after searching here and reading the online manual, the instructions tell you you need to remove the headliner interior.

Not so.

On the moonroof just take off the inside plastic trim panels on either side to expose four 10 mm nuts that hold the moonroof in place. When the nuts are off the moon roof can be lifted out. Easy.

Beats all the stuff that has to be removed to get the headliner out.

Don't know why the procedures don't say how to deal with just the sunroof glass.

Good to know. I've been wanting to add a power sun/moon roof to my camry. Any suggestions on who to go with?

you'd be better off getting a camry with one, from what i've heard about aftermarket sunroofs, they're junk and your roof will leak, just have an O.E. sun/moonroof.
