i know there are numerous threads about carbon fiber, but i cant find anyone who has got one from ebay, they do seem to be VIS brand, but are they really, and does anyone have one, and do they fit good

i dont have one but i believe that VIS stamps their products, per say. (ie i believe there is a stick under the hood that says "VIS")

they are the real thing im sure, they sound cheap but the shippin is like 150 on them

$150 to ship a 40lbs or less hood. But the size of it.

yeah ViS has their own little emblem they put on the underside of each hood.

$150 sounds like they're using UPS or something. My step dad must know something, cause he got a carbon fiber hood for his avenger from ebay (I think) and shipping only cost him $70-$80 I think. Something about using greyhound....I'll have to ask him when he gets back from Virginia.

If you are planning on buying one on ebay, I would try to contact the seller over the phone to assure that they actually have the hood in stock. I was going to buy one off of ebay so I called the seller and at first said he said that they had them in stock but when I told him that I would cancel the paypal payment if it was on backorder. Then everthing changed, they did not have it in stock and he said it would be a while before they received another shipment. I just ordered mine stright through vis.

it cost us few $150 for shipping on the gen 3 CF trunks and they only weigh 9lbs so...
