4th Generation Factory Alarm Programing

Can anyone help me w/ programing the factory alarm? I've searched but turned up empty handed.
My car is a 97 v6 XLE.

Is there a way to disable & enable the honk when arming alarm?
Honk twice when arming and honk once when unarming?
Can you rolled down the windows using the remote?
Or any thing else.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mousiee

Also, can you adjust the sensitivity of the factory alarm?

Programming instructions for gen 4.5
should work with other gen camry.
if not, do a search for RS3200 or RS3000 on google.

u can adjust the sensitivity of the shock sensor. It is by the brake padals. Adjust it with a small screwdriver. it's a black box with a dial

U cannot roll down windows with remote. Also, the remote does not have an option to do that,, unless u have a prototype remote from toyota that the public does not have.

Thanks for the help.
My keyless remote programing instructions call for using the electric mirror plug. It says use a jumper wire to connect the 2 and 10 slots. Do you know if this jumper wire they're talking about can be any wire or is it a specific type of wire.

And I'll try to locate the shock sensor.

No need for any special lead. Anything that conducts electricity. I used a paper clip. Works perfectly.

I was just wondering if this was a programable feature. My Altima rolls down the windows by holding the unlock button on the keyless entry. There are quite a bit of thing that can be programed on the factory alarm. Here's an example:

Here are the settings you can change and the appropriate modes:

Door Lock/Unlock (with single click on keyfob)
Mode 1: Unlock left front door only
Mode 2: Unlock all doors

Anti-lock Out (prevents locking keys in car)
Mode 1: Master door lock switch can activate door locks w/ key in ignition
Mode 2: Master door lock switch cannot activate door locks w/ key in ignition

Dome Lamp Timer
Mode 1: Interior lamp comes on when left front door is unlocked
Mode 2: Interior lamp does not come on when left front door is unlocked

Dome Lamp Battery Saver (amount of time interior lamp stays on after closing the front door)
Mode 1: Interior lamp goes off immediately after shutting left front door.
Mode 2: Interior lamp stays on for 30 seconds after closing front left door.

Retained Power (Amount of time windows and sunroof will operate after turning off ignition)
Mode 1: 45 seconds
Mode 2: No delay (Will not operate after ignition key is turned off)
Mode 3: 2 minutes

Auto Light On (headlights turn on as it gets dark)
Mode 1: Factory setting
Mode 2: Lights come on sooner than factory setting
Mode 3: Lights come on later than factor setting
Mode 4: Lights come on later than Mode 3

Head Lamp Battery Saver (applies when headlights left in “on” position, not in “auto.”
Mode 1: Shuts lamps off after 5 minutes
Mode 2: No time delay (headlights turn off immediately)

Headlamp Illumination delay (time headlights remain on after exiting car when headlight is in the “auto” position)
Mode 1: 45 seconds
Mode 2: No Delay (lights turn off immediately)
Mode 3: 30 Seconds
Mode 4: 1 minute
Mode 5: 1 ½ minutes
Mode 6: 2 minutes
Mode 7: 2 ½ minutes
Mode 8: 3 minutes

Hazard and Horn Reminder Mode (key fob allows you to choose between modes 1 & 2, but there are 4 others)
Mode 1 (C Mode): Lock = 2 flash, 1 horn /// Unlock = 1 flash, 0 horn
Mode 2 (S Mode): Lock = 2 flash, 0 horn /// Unlock = 0 flash, 0 horn
Mode 3: Lock = 0 flash, 0 horn /// Unlock = 0 flash, 0 horn
Mode 4: Lock = 2 flash, 0 horn /// Unlock = 1 flash, 0 horn
Mode 5: Lock = 2 flash, 1 horn /// Unlock = 0 flash, 0 horn
Mode 6: Lock = 0 flash, 1 horn /// Unlock = 1 flash, 0 horn

Remote Auto Locking Function Mode (Doors automatically lock after exiting car)
Mode 1: 5 minute delay
Mode 2: Function disabled
Mode 3: 1 minute delay

Remote Panic Alarm Operation Mode (activates when button on keyfob held for approx. __)
Mode 1: .5 seconds
Mode 2: Function disabled
Mode 3: 1.5 seconds

Remote Trunk Open Operation Mode (activates when button on keyfob held for approx. __)
Mode 1: .5 seconds
Mode 2: Function disabled
Mode 3: 1.5 seconds

Remote Power Window Down Operation Mode (activates when button on keyfob held for approx. __)
Mode 1: 3 seconds
Mode 2: Function disabled
Mode 3: 5 seconds

Just wondering if I can do stuff like this w/ the RS3000

Mousiee,

As far as I know, camry are not there yet when it comes to power window rolling.
The RS3200 or RS3000 alarm does have some prog features like disable lights (outside), disable lights (inside-dome), honk once or not honk, anti-lock out..

No power window feature..
(as far as I know, or till somebody can prove that toyota has this feature).

I bought my car used, and it did not come with a alarm manual..

I also brought my car used. I didn't know there was a alarm manual.

Right now my alarm just blinks twice to unarm and once to arm; do you know how to make it honk when arming?

Thanks for your help. I programed my keyless entry transmitters today using the electric mirror plug. Now i'll search google to see if can get the honk back.

What type of keyless do you have? Mine is a key with a built in a remote that says "securikey" on the back...haven't been able to find out much info on it. I tried programming it once when I first got the car, but the alarm is still kinda messed up. It goes off whenever it feels like it--i.e., during the middle of the night, waking people up. Hence why I have stopped using the remote to lock my doors.

it should be the sensitivity of the shock sensor.
Adjust it with a small screw driver.
it is under the driver's dash

Yeah, I've felt the shock sensor, but it's hard to see. Would it be easier if I removed the knee bolster and all that?
