Getting ready...

Ok, only answer if you have something useful to contribute. I need to know if a 3SGTE downpipe will clear the motor mount in a 5SFE when mounted to a dual entry CT26 on a stock 3SGTE manifold. I am worried that when I mount the turbo to the manifold the downpipe will not fit. It is no problem to have one custom made but it would be nice to know beforehand if I need to do so. I am using an oil filter relocation kit so getting to the oil filter is not an issue. I have searched all over celica forums, MR2 forums, and here of course but have not found a clear cut answer yes or no. Somebody has to know. And yes this project will be done right, CP pistons, pauter rods, bearings, ARP studs, metal headgasket, V6 Tranny swap, all the supporting fuel mods etc. and it will be tuned with Greddy Emanage and a wideband o2.

hey man, the stock 3s downpipe does NOT clear the mount, i am turboing my car now, and i am having a custom one made... i believe rape ran into the same problem when he did his turbo
