Decided to save money and paint emblems instead of shaving

I have finally decide to paint my emblems instead of shaving them because of the holes...and not wanting to pay $100 to fill in a couple of small holes. Anyways..just want to get your input my car is the same colour as smokey8890...like a light blue with silver........wondering if i should paint my emblem the same colour as my car or dark blue....

got any suggestions?

The same plugs that were in the holes when I took them out.

It should be able to stick right back in the same holes... but if not use 3m double sided tape.
For colour code, go to your driver door, and look on the door jamb and you will find it, its a three letter code, (6M1 is mine) go to Can Tire and pick up a can of that colour of paint for $6.49 Plus Tax and your done!

I used white spraypaint I had in my garage. I spraypainted them while they were on my car. The same plugs that were in the holes when I took them out[/b]
