Weird acceleration problem

When the engine is cold ... the acceleration is very weird (low and hi acceleration) ...

SYMPTOM:
The RPM go up like a stair ... in step ... example 2000 to 2100 and 2100 to 2300 RPM ... no middle ... and only when the engine is cold ...

do you know this problem ?!

Thanks

Check the IAC valve. See if it is sticking.

Remove the two screws and there is a pin inside. Turn it with your fingers.

No need to change the gasket. Just open it and twist the pin loose. No need for grease either.
