Ihave flush the trans and switch to synthetic ATF the upshift becomes too smooth and has a feel of slipping what are you guys using
what is the oem atf fluid and what is toyota type II fluid?

I am using Dot 3, which is the OEM and it works just fine for me. I believe the synthetic is Dot 4.

Toyota uses Dexatron III or type T. Look on your dipstick to see what you need to use. If it is Type t then must make sure you get type t and not dexatron III. Also Tranny Fluid is not reffered to as dot 3 or Dot 4. There is no such thing as dot 3 or 4 tranny fluid. The Fluid that is reffered to as dot 3 or 4 or 5 is brake fluid.
