power steering belt removal and crank pulley Q's

Disclaimer: ok, I got my unorthodox ultra S, I'm aware of the dangers but I'm not concerned with balancing in an na engine that will remain NA and still having the balancing shafts

now on with the 2 (relatively) simple questions:

1) How do you hold the crankshaft pulley in place while loosening it? All literature I've found shows a SST for it. I'm assuming there's another tool that can be used that I won't need to go to the dealer for or that there may be a way to do it without the tool.

2) What tool do you guys use to loosen the power steering belt's second bolt? I've removed the lower guide bolt completely and tried to loosen the upper pivot bolt but can't quite get to it.

At the moment I have all reserviours except for the power steering reserviour out, I have the serpentine belt off, I have the dogbone mount removed, the RH apron seal removed, the passenger side wheel removed.

The manuals I've read suggest I should remove the serepentine belt off before I go for the power steering belt, which I've done. It doesn't really seem to open up much access though.

The access I can get won't let me get enough force on the bolt to really take it out. it seems like I'm stuck with a shorter wrench due to the placement of the power steering lines but the shorter wrench can't provide enough force.

Any help's appreciated, thanks.

k, I got the crank pulley bolt off by using the an old trick, wedging a breaker bar in the crossmember and cranking the engine for a sec. I still can't get the power steering pivot bolt loose though (the upper bolt on the bracket). I'm tempted to just cut the belt and put the new belt on with the new crank pulley. any thoughts?

thanks
