Recently, when I step the brakes, it creates a little squeaking sound. Like the squeaking sound when you open a door. Is it just because too much braking so the lubricant is not that well? Is it ok to spray some WD-40 to the brake joints? Thanks for your help!

How about the pads being at the end of their life? Maybe you've hit the warning indicator.

Don't think WD-40 is good to use, the heat will burn it away. Think you have to use a high temp grease on the slide guides. Another poster will know for sure.

Porbably I confused you, It's not from the brake, it's when you step into the brake. Even the car is fully stopped. You step it really hard, it will squeak. But the sound is not coming from the brake.

it is coming from the brake padels.
spray some silicon grease on the moving parts on the padel
