hi, anyone wanna post there 1/4 e.t. that the ran with their camry and what kinds of perfomance mods you have, engine,etc. just wondering how i measure up. i ran a 18.1 @76mph 19.9 @78mph with a short ram intake and a 17.6 @77mph., with the intake and catback exhaust.

you have a 4cylinder right?
How well have you maintained your car?
I've never done the 1/4 mile, but people have ranged from
15.3 (Racer Hex, 92, 5 spd... ask him for mods)
to about 18.3+ (Alex.... 93 XLE 4cyl... :P )

I think Racer Hex is a 3VZ-FE V6 5 speed...

as for my best run, look at my sign... Kinda slow for my mods..

I ran an 18.1 at 76 MPH with a 5sfe auto with intake and exhuast.
Slow! U have a 5sfe right? Is it a stick?

92 2.2 5-speed ........... 16.81@87.933 Packed with Ice This was also on slicks, no spare ,no jack , hardly any gas.

1. 4banger
2. auto
3. bodykit that acts the same as a parachute
4. stereo
5. rims

camry dude, my car is auto i were it were 5speed. 93 5sfe i think part of the reason i ran such a lower time is because i run on 14' rims. when i bought them i decided that anything bigger would slow me down too much. i kinda regret it though cause it looks shitty. also i only have 56k miles on my car.

i dont know what you guys are doing wrong. i mean i'm not sayin my time is fast but i ran a 17.5 at 76.50 with just an intake. no spare tire and no jack. i have a 5sfe with auto.

92camrygts: What size rims do u have and how many miles do you have on your car? I could almost swear that my car wouldn't go any faster if it had to in the quarter mile! I ran 18.1 at about the same speed as you. Damn, whats wrong with my car? I don't have a bodykit or anything, but i do have 17's.

i run on some fatties. 195/70/14, 70 seris, it looks like shit..... im going to downsize the profile as soon as i get the money. im looking at the falken azenis 195/60/14. or my friend my be able to hook me up with some z rated toyo's. i ran my time with the spare and jack. next trip everything is going spare,jack all carpets back seats. empty washer fluind(the camry ones are huge!) empty gas and whatever else i can ditch and hopefully drop my time a couple 1/10ths of a sec,

dam.. camrys that slow.. humm i wonder what my V6 Camry can do on the track.. oh well i might take it out next weekend to the tracks.. so far i've been only running on my accord... finally hit into the 16's
