Gen5 I did something wrong...

I was changing out the dome/map lights for my Gen 5, and when I pulled out the bulb from the dome light (yes, I had it in the OFF position), I think it may have blown a fuse. I re-inserted the original bulb and neither the dome nor the map lights worked. THEN, I realized that my keyless entry wasn't working either... what could be wrong!? I think it might be a fuse, but I don't know which one, and I'm not too sure on how to tell if one is blown or not... also, when I turned on the car, my clock was reset... please help!

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

you probably DID blow the fuse. Usually the interior fuses are in the coin tray closest to the driver side door. If you open it and pull the little tray out and on the tray, there should be a little "guide" to tell you which fuses does what.

Once you find your interior fuse, look at it. There should be a black "spot" where it burned out. If there is NO black "burn mark" then it's something else. I woudl take it to the dealer.

Is it possible that my keyless just reset like my clock and needs to be reprogrammed?

Remove the fuse and use a continuity checker or a mutilmeter to see if there is continuity still

Ok so I'm almost sure its the fuse now... asked around and it happened to a friend (very similar symptoms) so I'm going to go buy a new fuse later and try it... if it doesn't, then I'm right back here at the drawing board

yep as everybody has been saying, it is a fuse

this happened to me in my old Gen3, and i was fully freaking out about it because nothing seemed to work, but then i found out it was just a fuse

but it should be the 'Dome' Fuse that has blown
usually there are some spare fuses in the fuse boxes for you to replace them with

but of course, he's going to have to buy some fuses from wal mart or whatever because they don't provide the 7.5 amp fuse in the extra fuses.
