3rd Generation Short Throw Shifter?

Ok, I've read everything I can find on this:

SO the TRD gen4 Short throw shifter fits, but you have to buy the whole assembly not just he actuall rod thing? What kind of prices are we looking at

Also, does the trd keep the stock height, cause I don't really wont in shroter, just easier/better throws.

And lastly, is this mod worth doing, I think it probably is, Because my feet seem to move faster then my hands and I've been known to accidently grind 1-2 and 2-3 more than once...

if by rod you mean the upper handle itself, it will only be limitedly beneficial. you won't notice a firmer shift or anything just a shorter one because of the height alone.

if you get the whole assembly it'll have a tighter feeling to it because what you're doing is replacing the loose, 'user friendly' feel of the stock shifter w/ something that was designed to be more firm and have more positive feeling shift points. it may even have 'springs' to help push it into the next gear to prevent mis-shifts and grinding.

Well, I don't think that's what I want, so I guess I'll spend my money elsewhere. Thanks
