Weak pedal pressure... what's causing it?

hey guys, i need some info about a problem in my car. I've dealt with a very weak clutch pedal pressure for a while now and I've just about had it. My mechanic told me that it's the throw out bearing and my other mechanic told me that it's the master and the slave cylinder. Which do you think it is? I'm leaning towards the throw out bearing since the problem started right after the clutch kit was installed couple of years ago. Also the lines have been bled just to get that factor out of the way. I have the 2000 5sfe camry

adjustable clutch quadrant might help tighten it up...

i'm not sure if they are generic or vehicle specific. i know its a nice aftermarket fix for domestics.

i would check two things before taking it in....

one<> is there fluid in the resevoir(next to the brake fluid resevoir)

two<> if no fluid check the slave cylendir one your transmission it has a little boot size of your finger if help is needed have a buddy flutter the clutch and look for the movement.

I would bleed it again just to make sure, weak pedal is usually air in the system, second i would change the slave cylinder, shouldnt be too expensive...

well i bled it with my mechanic couple of days ago and he said there's no air in the system. Maybe this symptom might clear things up. When I intentionally heat up the clutch by moving the car on second or third(just to trouble shoot the car) the pedal pressure decreases. Isn't the throwout bearing really close to the clutch system? Maybe the heat effects the throwout bearing, causing it to change the way it releases the fork.

no way the throw out bearing can possibly make pedal lighter. It's a bearing spinning perpendicular to the clutch disk/lever movement. If a throw out bearing is out, it will either make noise or cause vibration, even if it locks up, it will in no way change the pedal weight ( maybe make it heavier, if it bites on the retainer, but I doubt that )
a new clutch set will give you lighter effort than that old one you replaced, it's a good thing, unless you have pedal returning problem or clutch releasing problem, leave it alone.

what kind of clutch?? sometimes with a performance clutch, you have a way different pedal feel than you are used to.

Maybe it is the pressure plate? Weak springs in it perhaps.
