New owner, and member needs help fuses!

hello, i just joined this site. I patiently searched through 34 pages before asking this question, and 1 other guy on here had same problem, but know1 seemed to answer, either its an obvious known thing with camry's...or know1 knows the answer, please reply either way..and if it is common please sticky it under f.a.q.

my fuse box diagram shows that my fan, engine, and fuel pump fuses in a location where i have no fuses! Now...my car runs...so obviously my fuel pump and engine are working, and my fan also comes on...but why would they mismark these locations??? is there something i am not understanding here? Also there is a few misc. marked fuse locations that do not have any terminals installed in them (the prior fuses named did have terminals) the only 1 i remember off hand was a radio fuse...so was there different fuse locations on certain trim models of camry of the camry that are different then mine? also my horn doesnt work and i would like to know the fuse that controls it...thank u in advance

There are 3 questions in this post...please some1 politely answer all 3 for this inspiring newb....thank u

Well, its probably because that fuse doesn't power the clock, it powers the mechanism that keeps track of time when the car is off. When I blew a fuse in my Gen 5, my clock would reset to 1:00 every time I'd start the car, but the clock was getting power.

Toyota is notorious for running components through several different fuses. SO you may have a fuse blow that does not seem to control the component that is not working but it could be another fuse that also has something to do with it. As far as fuse locations sometimes there are different fuse locations for US and Canadian models. Since Canadian cars ahve to ahve DRL's and US cars dont. I would recommend looking inthe owners manual nd not on the fuse box cover. It is also possibel that someone lost the original cover and jsut got hte closest thing taht would fit. As far as the horn is concerned I would get a 12volt test light, unplug the horn and stick the test light into the plug. Hit the horn and see if the test light turns on. If it does then you need to replace the horn more than likely. If it doesnt use same test light and turn car to on position then use test light to check all fuses. With the ignigtion in on position you should have power on both sides of most of the fuses. If you ahve power only on one side turn the item on that the fuse controls and see if you have power on both sides then. Hopefully you will find one that controls the horn and is blown.
