I believe no more than 9 lbs. Also use the search. This has been discussed a few hundred times on this board.

Cool

That is an unanswerable question. It will varry widely from turbocharger to turbocharger.

boost......camry....nah it'll never work...j/k

you have to rebuild an engine, forged internals and have no $ issues....as you'll need every bit of it.....and a manual tranny is highly suggested

yeah, my motor was running really strong (around 160k) and then I supercharged it and that's when the downward spiral began. It will go under the knife shortly but the reason why i superchaged it is because it had to promote it for a trade show.

If I ever have that kinda cash and for whatever reason I am not buying another better car, then I would buy the 3G something motor and mod it, rather than modding my 5sfe.

$2,500 vs. $5,000..... I'd take the modded 5s-fe.

Hey CamryPunk, when you say $2500 for modding a 5SFE, how accurate is that price? I mean I live in Vancouver, and $3106.22 CAD for modding my 5SFE doesn't sound bad at all! Is that the price for having the engine out's labour, putting forged and aftermarket parts in, and install? Well basically, I would wanna mod my camry shortly, and I kinda of this budget of cash that I can use. I want bodykit, as I have PMed you, but I dun want rice and no sleep. Should I start a new thread and ask for suggestions? Cuz I have mentioned these stuff everywhere, maybe I should concentrate my needs in one post.

OK I give up. I will let ppl call me ricer and I would say MEH. LOL
CamryPunk count me in that group buy for Extreme. I won't bother asking local dealers of VIS or something, believing that you would provide me satisfacturing price and quality.

excellent telling him to search, i was just going to...

dont even think about putting a turbo on your car until you know all the variables and know how it all works... for that, you need to search for info on www.mr2oc.com and on this board. compare all the info you have and sort it out (theres a lot of bullshit going around with the facts). then you have to ask questions to learn about the FINE points that arent even discussed on the forum (or a search cant find). only THEN can you start asking questions. only THEN can you even start thinking about putting a turbocharger on your car.

short answer: 5-7psi 9psi with head gasket (all depends on turbo, motor condition, oil changes, gas used, not fucking with the boost controller cause you think its cool to blow your motor up cause you need to beat a fucking honda in a race)

so many variables. do some looking around.

i owe all my success to my avatar.
