Gen5 Aftermarket exahust

Does anyone have suggestions on what high-flow muffler i should get?

I dont want an over the top tuner sound like most honda's have, i want a more distinct tuner sound something different from stock but not so loud that i will get pulled over for it. (massachucetts its illiegal to have High-Flows).

you will most likely have to get a custom exhaust done. since there is not exhaust company that makes an aftermarket exhaust for the gen5/gen2 solara.

on my little brother camry we got a custom exhaust done. it will be hard for a v6 motor to sound like a ricey honda.

I have a custom catback 2.5 inch pipe to a magnaflow race muffler. Good smooth power delivery and a nice low growl. All for $450.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

I tried a greddy before I put the magnaflow and honestly (I know a v6 can't be ricey) but it really did sound ricey to me. The magnaflow sounds really deep and throaty. I get people asking me all the time about what kind of exhaust it is and where can they get one.

I was on the road messing around with a 03 BMW 330 a few weeks back and he actually pulled into the gas station with me and talked for about 1/2 an hour about my car. He was totally in disbelief that it was a camry. I'm telling you it really put a smile on my face. We exchanged numbers as I have a friend who can get him good parts for his bimmer. He also wants to do a track day, which I was hoping to do a few this year.

Sorry to stray off topic.........

the i4 2az motor doesn't sound ricey at all. so you don't have to worry about it sounding ricey. just get a good custom exhaust done.

I just ordered a magnaflow hi flow catalyic converter and an obx greddy evo 2 style muffler. It's pretty much trial and error with these things. If it is to loud then i'll add a resonator. It can't sound any worse than my current set up which consists of no second catalyic converter no resonator 2.25 picping to perfromance muffler, and to tell you the truth it doesn't sound bad at all. i'll keep yall updated..

btw gen3 4cyl cam
