my base 89 camry came stock with a front sway bar but not one in the rear. so i went to the junkyard and got a rear sway bar off a V6 model. it only cost me about $15. if you want to get upgraded front and rear sway bars go and check out whiteline sway bars. they really stiffen up your ride and reduce understeer.

As for strut bars, no one makes a rear strut bar for the gen2 that I am aware of. For the front strut bar, you can go with either a cheapo ebay strut bar for about $20 or you can go to your local junkyard and pick up an ES250 strut bar for about $15. I've had both on my car and the ES250 bar is far superior. It fits perfectly and since its one piece, is much stiffer.

so i guess the ES250 does not have rear strut bars or they do but the ones in the back do not fit the gen 2 camry's. hhmm.

i wonder if any other car would have a rear strut bar that would fit the camry back there.

let me know. if not, i would have to make my own custom one.

thank you all for the info. i will soon post some pictures about my car.

yUP, the eS250 parts and your gen2 camry have pretty much the same parts that you swap around.

And also is there a big differnce between the FSB from the Es250 compared to Gen2s?
