4th Generation A/C LED flashing

Occasionally my A/C indicator LED will flash (and the A/C blows warm). I've been able to re-boot (shut the car off, then restart) and it works fine---I've even just put it on Defrost, and the light glows steady and it blows cold, but I'm curious about the occasional flashing. Anyone familiar with it?

mine does it when i go thourgh a big puddle. it's the high pressure switch shutting the system off. if you didnt go through a puddle make sure the belt is tight and no oil is leaked on to it. also you dont need to shut the car off the press the a/c switch works fine for me.

It is low on refrigerant or the compressor is ready to blow. Mine did that last week.

So basiclly, it means that you have a problem with the A/C system, which could be any of all of the above! haha. Smart cars!

It's either the pressure in the system is too high or low. Also, in the even of a failure it also blinks since there is *no pressure*.
