Clear headlights

Any idea how to clear out your stock OEM headlights on a Camry? I drive a gen3 96 LE...

My OEM lenses are REALLY foggy, I was wondering if there is a way to clear them out or where there is a good place to buy new ones that are REALLY shiny and clear...

Thanks guys

wont the nail polish remover eat away at the plastic?

I think ill try the toothpaste first....

Also, should I do this on the inside AND outside of the lenses or just the insides?

There is 'clear' then there is 'clean'

To 'clean' them, yes use toothpaste and a nice soft polishing cloth.

To 'clear' them, look for Tony the Tigers' HID projector light project. I believe he dissassembled the lens housing and had to sand/file/? the inner faceted surface off, and then go through many stages of finer and finer sandpaper to get 'clear' headlights. Lots of work and you don't want to screw up !

Hope that helps

Just the outside should do it. I recommend the nail polish remover, it worked wonders for me!

Thanks for the info guys!

Just a few questions.. With the nail polih remover on the outside...did you just put some on a rag and then rub it onto the lense? or what?
Will this "Clean" or "Clear" the lense?

And as for the Plexi glass cleaner? Is that going to "Clean" or "Clear" the lense? And how hard is it to apply that?

Sorry bout all the questions, just wanna make sure I do this right and not have to buy new headlights 8)
