Any way to make the Camry's pedal tighter?

I've been driving my Accord to work this past week (keeping the hard 1 mile each way off the Camry) and tonight I go to drive my Camry... JESUS the pedal feels dead almost! The Accord's pedal is firm and gives feedback.. the Camry pedal just feels limp.

Is there any way to make the pedal firmer?

if you mean the gas pedal, just have your throttle body serviced and the throttle cord re-tightened.

stainless brake lines did wonders for petal pressure, almost feels like it pushes back now. (assuming you're talking about brake pedal)

The brake is progressive. No matter what you do, short of changing the entire system to something else, the only time a mainstream Toyota brake package is stiff, is during fast stops.

Push the pedal quickly and it'll be firm. Push it slowly and it's easy to modulate.



AFA the gas, deal with it. Install a bitch'en spring on the throttlebody & take all the slack out of it.

you can tighten the kick down and throttle cables
Toysrme did a free mod series about that

try bleeding the brakes if its really bad

other than that, ive noticed camrys do have a soft pedal.
