my camry is possessed

hello all, i have a 1993 camry v6(3vzfe) 5 speed 224,000 miles, right now the car is running really rough like when your plug wires are completly gone..(been there fixed that 7 mos ago). the plug wires(standard) dist cap(standard) and rotor(standard) were replaced 7 mos ago, plugs were done maybe 2 years ago( 20,000 miles) with bosch platinums(popped the front three out they look a little aged but when compared to new the electrode looks the same. also the check engine light came on stayed on for 2 like two hours, and then its normal again running great, i park it overnight start it up the next day its rough again and the light came back on.

its seems to be worse when going up hill or under load(steering wheel shaking violently thinking the car is going to stall..
would a plugged cat act this way? sometimes have sulfur smell after a while. (bolts are rusted or i would have tried to run it without the cat to figure out the problem.

i replaced the plugs checked cap and rotor seafoamed through brake booster. yesterday

still the same thing all be more guts when it is not acting as described.

does any one have any other ideas?

check your o2 sensor(s), mostlikely gone on high mileage engines. could be tps(throttle position sensor), air sensor. since your check eng light comes on, find out what code it reads, but i think its one of these three things from what you tell us
also i doubt its the cat

take the car to autozone and have them read the code.

the plug wires can be bad again. i had a set go faster than that on me and i end up with a dead cylinder. check your idle air controll there was a real nice write up on here how to clean it out.
