Regular Indiglow vs Reverse Indiglow guages

I've only had my Gen3 Camry for about 3 weeks now, and i'm already sick of the original guage cluster.

I'm partial between the Regular Indiglow and Reverse Indiglow guage kits from procarparts.com

Vote on which kit you prefer, and maybe that will help me make a final decision (i've never had any type of indiglow guage kit in any of my vehicles, so I dont know the pro's and con's of each)

So pretty much, which kit would you prefer?

Regular White/Blue Indoglow Kit

Silver Reverse Indiglow Kit

Edit: I added a generic pic from a regular indiglow picture at night

I have the top one, I dont see anythign silver about the others. Etiehr way I would get the full backlight ones because its 100times easier to read at night. But ill vote for what I have now.

Personally, I like the reverse ones better, the full indiglo ones look like they would get too bright after a while.

My concerns would be how well they would look in all ligthing conditions (day, dusk, night. etc.)

And what do to with the original guauge cluster lighting.

You can see in the 2nd pic from the top, how the light from the gas and temp guages lights up the EL faces even more (looks bad) but if I start removing backlit bulbs, will the needles not light up as well? or the odometer. etc.?

That's another worry I have about the reverse indiglow faces... if they are all dark except for the numbers, but still being lit up by the backlit bulbs (the ones that light up the temp and gas) that would look real crappy

Edit: I with the parts site actually posted real pictures of them installed on the car (to see problems that would arise like that)

i'd say the reverse indiglo, the whole face being lit up would be WAY too annoying

the full back lit ones are chessy in my opinion. go reverse.

or do what i did and just change the color of the bulbs to orange along with the whole center console and get some chrome gauge rings and be dome with it. looks pretty nice and sporty imo, check cardmain for pics.

I saw a few gen3's with red backlit 194's and 74's.

Looked amazing on the reverse indiglow guages

Looks like i'll be purchasing the Reverse Indiglow Kit

Thank you for the feedback, everyone

I have had the full indiglows for almost a year now and I like em a lot... plus I like how they look better during the day. The main reason I got them was because theyre white and my car is white- so I guess its your call. They can get old but theres always the dimmer for just such occasions.

my car is that gold/beige color with gloss black trim

nothing too fancy, but it doesnt show dirt!

and when I slap on some 5% to match the gloss black trim, it'll look better

Why buy reverse when they look like a stock gauges. Go for the full indiglo.

i have had/seen both...

too me, indiglo just gets annoying after a while, especially on long drives, since you have this freaking blue glow in your face 24/7

i am a bigger fan of the black gauges with you fav. new 194 bulbs replaced

its like this:

when you have black gauges, you want white
when you have white gauges, you're gonna want black

might as well be content with what you have.
