4th Generation i just put my rims on...

now that my rims are on the back discs have rust on them so i wanted to know how to remove the rust of the discs.pleasae help asap they look really gay.

where on the disc is rust? have you driven it around/braked around hard? I thought rust usually come off the "face" if thats done

Do you have disk or drum brakes? if you have disk brakes just use the car and while you brake it will clean themselves up, if they are drum brakes you can clean them with a wire brush or just paint them. My front and rear disk were rusted and now they are clean after 50 miles of use. maybe your rear brake are worn out and are not braking at all that probably why they are rusted. and also if they are disk type it might not be a good idea to paint them.
