Ok.. I notice that when Im driving with my lights on, and I go to put up a windows or 2... my headlights (as well as my dash lights) are dimming... and they do it enough to notice (and it drives me insane.
Also when I put up windows and I try to put up more then one at a time it seems like there is less and less power going to them the more windows i try to put up at once and it takes FOREVER to put the windows up (these are power windows obviously).
Anyone know how I can solve any of these problems?
Its normal u coul;d probably try to upgrade the motors but everycamry ive gotten in does that! I tried to get myn fixed and they said nothing is wrong so? HUH! Crazy
My 91 LE V6 had "issues" with all of the windows slowing down horribly when I rolled them up at the same time. My 01 LE 4-cyl doesn't seem to, but when I roll up/down more than 2 at a time, the headlights do dim. My 91 did the headlight thing as well. If I remember correctly, the models with power windows/door locks even had a stronger alternator just because of the fact that they draw a fair amount of juice.
I'm convinced the dimming-light thing is pretty "normal" for our cars...
(Oh, yes.. Also, on my old Gen2, it still did this even with an Optima red top up front for the car and 2 in the back behind an isolator for my amps... and I managed to draw too much amperage and kill the car at a stop light on more than one occasion. :o)
thats weird... my 99 cam does the same thing when i roll two windows up at the same time... both run up a lot slower than if i just use one... i dont think its an issue or anything (hopefully for me its not  )
It annoys the heck out of me too. Makes my car look ghetto, which it probably is, BUT need to minimize the ghetto-ness of it. Goddamn constipated power windows!

My headlights go black when I crank up my system...Then again I DO have two 1000 W subs, two 200 W (RMS) 6.9's, two component systems (two 6.5's with tweeters with 2 way crossovers... :P
Maybe it's time to upgrade the alternator maybe???
it is a weak alternator that causes that problem. Nothing to do with the motors in the doors. You can either have your alt rewound for a higher output, or buy a new one. Either way will solve that problem.

Can I get a stronger alternator then my OEM one, or will I just have to settle with a new one with the same output??? :-?
you can buy a stronger one. Ohio Alternators is one source. Just do a search online for "High output alternator". It will just replace your stock one. Or, take your stock one to someone who works on alternators, and have them rewind the internal wiring to give you more juice.
