18x8" rims, studs/bolts too short

I got 18x8" rims and the hub studs are too short and I cant screw the lug nuts all the way...only half a lug nut gets screwed on. I went to some tires/wheels place and they couldn't help me because they do not have extended studs for a 94 camry in stock. Does any one with a 94 camry know what size studs would I need for 18x8" rims? or what places will most likely have them in stock?

Thanks....

It doesnt really have anything to do with the size of the wheel. It is the thickness of the center hub of the wheel. What you amy want to do is remove one of the studs then go to your local auto parts store and tell them you want one with this thread pattern but longer. I can not remember waht the actual dimnesions of the studs are though.

12x1.5 is the thread pitch...but does any one know the length of the stock studs? Also, what's "Knurled end" size?

Yeah, I know I can switch the studs. The question is, if any one knows the length of the stock studs...

KNURL = the part of the stud that actually attaches itself to your hub...

I'm currently trying to find the right knurl size so I could use ARP long studs for the back... But, if you just want longer studs ... try going to your toyota dealer and ask for Tundra wheel studs are the longest... With the normal KNURL lenght , while there is even a longer stud than that but has a 5mm of space before the thread of the bolt actually begins...

OK. I actually have one stud I took out from my hub and it measures 1" long from top of the thread to the bottom. Is that the correct way to measure the length of the studs? only the thread part or the whole bolt? I've seen some websites selling extended wheel studs that are 3" is that way too long? I think 1.5" in length will do.
