I dont know if anyone has these on their cars but since I have been viewing the TN site, I only heard of JIC and D2 coilovers. But I found out the other day that there is another type of brand out there for camrys. K-Sport makes kits from 92+ so check is out. http://www.jinsu-power.com/index.php?cPath=47_70
I am seriosly thinking of getting these in the next 2 weeks. Do i need to get upper strut mounts to go with them? and do i need to specify specific spring rate or dampening or something like people had to when they did the D2 group buy? And if so what are the recomeneded numbers for someone who is using them for mostly daily driving but wants to get rid of a lot of the normal pitch and roll but lives around lots of potholes?

K sports are manufactured in the same company as D2s. I had D2s on my civic and they were freakin' STIFF! Felt like i was driving a track car. WAY more stiffer then the teins i have on now, even though they're the same spring rates. I heard clicking sounds but that was because of the install. They were fine once i got them installed professionally. I highly recommend them IF you like super still suspension.
And i'm gonna be getting the K sport for my camry soon. Can't wait.

K-Sport and D2 coilover themselves have no inherent issues with noise or clunking. The issues with the first D2 group buy were caused by a problem in manufacturing which led to the entire batch being affected. D2 and Element Autoworks (the shop who organized the group buy) is going to replace all those bad units for the people involved.
So, if you had to call them safe to buy or not, I assume you'd say.... "safe"? As far as spring rates, what's the maximum I want to go to for something that's like SMAN said in his post?
