4th Generation NEED opinion on tires!!

i have a 1998 4cyl camry i'm looking for tires that are either

205/40/17
215/45/17
235/45/17

17" x 7"

I have four choices

Fuzion HRI $535
Hankook H405 $550
Kuhmo 711 $530
Falken 512 $530

What should i get?? i want something with good handling and will not wear out as fast.

Go with 215/45-17. They are the best match for the original tire size.

I have used the Falken 512 before size 205/65/15 and they are good tires. I only drove with them for 200-300 miles though since it was not my car. They handled really nice in the rain that I was driving through. I didn't have much dry conditions time with them.

Good handling and long lasting cannot be had together. Performance tires have softer compound that will wear out faster. Harder compounds last longer, but don't handle as well.

Check out some ratings and reviews at tirerack.com and 1010tires.com

^ yea i know what your talking about kuhmo and falken are z-rated so it's a bit softier than the fuzion and the hankook tires which are h-rated. but i'm only gonna have them on the summer and canadian summers are short... so.. i'm not too worried about tire ware. however i wuold like these tires to last me with good performance for 80,000km

I'd say go with 225/45/17 if they're available in those tires.....wider, and fills out the wheel gap that the camrys always have a problem with

If 205/65/15 is the stock tire, then 215/50/17 is the correct tire upsize.

^ What would be some good tires, that would cost me around $500-600 ( including balancing fitting and all thats stuff.) I do not want to order from the States because i'm sick and tired in paying customs taxes. So anything from Toyo or Yokohama (or any other brand) you guys would recommend on a low budget.

thanks
