Hey guys, just bought a 97 camry and I wanted to get the windows tinted. Anyone know of a good tint place near mississauga? Also Im looking to buy some gen 5 rims and tires, how much would they go for on average?

generally speaking, people don't like tint king, but I got mine there along with a remote starter/alarm combo over 3 years ago and still more than happy with both

should be about $200 for semi-metallic tint

What did you get tinted?

I had my car done (4 doors and back windshield) and it was US$190 for black tint. They did a good job though, they removed the door panels so they could tint all the glass. There's no gap at the top either.

all 4 + rear.....

they did a good job, but it wasn't the ones where they took the glass out to do it.....if I were to do it again, I would spend the extra bit of $$$ to get the glass taken out and tinted

is it really that much better to get the whole piece of glass tinted?
i mean...you are paying to tint something you are not going to see..
don't mean to be an ass..just want to know if there was a particular
reason.

For me, it was US$20 more to have that shop do it compared to other shops. That shop does that for every car they tint. Pretty much I said WTH...

It looks nicer when the windows are rolled down part way since there isn't a 1 cm gap at the top of the glass. It looks like the glass came that way. But like you said, when the windows are up or down all the way, it cannot be seen, and probably it doesn't make a big difference.
