My handbreak light on dash~!

First of all, say Hi to every member~
I was working all time the whole summer, so I don't even have time to post any threats~
Just wanna say hi to everyone now, because I am back to school again~

Second
I just noticed my e brake signal on the dash will go on by itself sometimes
when I wasn't pulling it. Does any of your have the same situation??
Please reply me and share your solution/situation~!

Third
I have decided to stay with my dad's Camry.
I wanted to buy a 90-93 Celica/Corolla before, but now I am going to stay with Camry. Several reasons go with it, insurance and my parents doesn't like it. I am planning to pay off my dad for his Camry, then I will start my moditification on it.

Forth
I wanna buy a set of 16-17" rims. Any suggestions, like brand, prices ?? I am looking for performance more than comfortable( i don't care ). Last question, light weighted rim seems better, but how much are those??

Thx for all replies ~

For the ebrake signal being on, check your brake fluid and make sure it's topped off. Even if it's in the acceptable range on the reservoir, top it off with fresh fluid. If that fixes it, you should check to see if you have a leak somewhere or make sure that your pads aren't totally worn out.

I'm not sure what you mean by a performance rim, but it has to be light. As for comfort, 16" would probably be more comfortable than 17" rims, but tires would probably make more of a difference. I have no suggestions on brands as you first have to start with a budget which you didn't list. If you only have $1000, don't even bother looking at the better brands.

I agree.......... the break indicator light is the light that turns on when u put on ur e-brake but it also indicates when something is not optimal with ur brake system............. check ur brake fluid most of the time thats what it is ............ sometimes its ur brakes itself.......... it can also be that ur e-brake is sticking......... but 99.9% of the time it is the fluid
