2VZ Electronic Idle Adjustment
As many of us know, the 2VZFE uses the ECU to control the idle speed. Unlike the 3S series, where there is an adjustment screw present of the TB.
Since my car is going to be manual, I am wanting to devise a way to control the base idle speed, electronically. Perhaps a trim-pot or pot across the terminals of 2 of the ECU pins, but which ones? And how to trick it? How about the AC Idle Up VSV? Does anyone have any ideas?
I know on USDM manual 2VZ's they have what is called a "Dash Pot", which is something to do with idle, but I have no idea what it is.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards.
