Cold Cathode Trunk Light (much brighter!!!) Pics Inside-56k No Way
Problem: The gen 4 trunk light is just a single 194 bulb and is horribly dim.
Solution: Install dual 12" white cold cathode bulbs.
This mod is sooo simple and sooo cheap and makes a huge difference when trying to dig in your trunk at night. I used a dual white cold cathode available at any computer case modding website, which I got for about $8.00 shipped!! They are 12VDC and with a simply tapping into your existing trunk light wires, your new bright cathodes operate just like the stock only 20x as bright.
hey, that's not a bad idea...always wondered how i could possibly make the trunk a bit brighter. I could install a switch for when i need to leave the trunk open during the day.
sweet..
Fix your pics though

True. They even come with a rocker switch! But you won't really need the switch cause they are not drawing much current.
