do they work? if they do, is it just a temporary fix?

Yes i have tried that same exact one in that pick you have. Its this thick blue colors stuff. I didn't notice any difference. I've tried other engine products too, i never felt any difference with any lol

running weak may not be an oil problem... also if u change ur oil frequently u wont need that... u may have a seal that is leaking pressure somwhere or a spark plug that is dirty.. in my opinion those cleaner things dont work the best thing to use to clean ur internals is tranny fluid ( Automatic tranny fluid) put one quart in with 3 quarts of oil u normally use and leave it like that for a few days then drain it totally it should eat up alll the oil and gunk u have... good luck man...

I used that engine restorer thing when I had an Integra. It didn't make any difference.

Yes, my dad does that thing with ATF too.

so with the ATF tip can i just add it in acouple of days before i change my oil or does the oil have to be fresh?

normally wat u would do is drain the oil.. ( use the same oil filter) put new oil 3 quarts into the camry ( i have a 4 cyl so my measurement might be off) then put the to top up as atf.. that should be fine...

as advice from a guy who works at a oil company and had a class about oil. I suggest not using additives to your oil. For example, theres a famous *cough pro cough long cough* additive thats being sued for millions of dollars.
Studies from the Texas instute of mineral oils , said that pro long works great for about 2 weeks and then turns into a more acidic state. I use to believe in Restore and Pro Long after taking a 10hr. class on oils . It changed my mind...

Words from the people in the know...

yeah listen to the wraith if anything he knows his shit.. any additive u add even fuel additives dont do anything for ur car... so be careful... unless that additive is nitrous oxide being injected with a wet system to ur car!!! hahahah then that will really do somethin.. cos all that money on those crap u are spending if u save it up u can get a fogger system already or save up for a turbo mod!!!

So im guessing STP fuel injector stuff is also "crud" which does nothing? In that case I should prolly stop buying it huh? Ive spent money on that stuff thinking it actually did something

only oil additives are what I said not to use. Fuel on the other hand dont know ... Except I know the NOS octane booster only ups the octane up by a point or two... hehehehe, had a friend in our lab test it out...

i checked them out already... they dont do cleaning.. only thing that really works for ur fuel is to get ur injectors flushed and redone which can only be done through a machine... not a silly little bottle which does nothing... also note that if u been using good fuel to start with u should have a nicer cleaner fuel line....

i mean serioulsy think about wat u are buying for ur car.. and read the labels.. check it out for consistency... the STP u are buying is the same chemical make up as regular gas!!! and there are more of it out there that has the same concept... so why waste ur money on them??? even the NOS one that raises one point of octane!! u are buying a very expensive gas... less than a liter but priced at 12-15 bucks!!! and yet u complain if the gas went up rite? so just think about wat u're buyin... why not just use that money to buy better / higher octane gas?

id have to say that fuel injector stuff does work. my buddy hads a corolla that he brang into the shop for an inspection. few things needed to be done, including a fuel injector cleaning for 90 bucks. i was with him and told him not to do it yet try some fuel injector cleaner first. Now before adding the FI cleaner the engine was rough at idle and the steering wheel was shaking like a wet dog .. after a couple of days of driving with the cleaner car is as smooth as new.

We used the valvoline fuel system cleanner

I've used the Zmax product for about 3 years now and so far I haven't had problems with. At the time when I owned my Colt Vista. I added that prolong crap in my vehicle and I lost some accretion because of it.

What do you guys know about the Gress Lighting Products that they've been advertising on T.V?
