4th Generation 99 camry headlight switch??

i know this kinda sounds dumb but is there anyway to turn off your headlights for a 99 camry. im running alot electronics in my car and i want to keep my headlights off when im parked and stuff. ill post up pix soon of my stuff. well if anyone knows how to turn it off or bypass it somehow that would be greatly appreciated.

You mean the daytime running lights? If so there is a grey connector on the passenger side firewall. All the way in the corner of your engine bay. Just disconnect it and secure it. Search this forum for "drl" or "daytime running lights" and you may find a picture. It has been discussed many times.

not 100% sure but don't they come off once you pull the parking brake up? if so theres an easy answer, my 03 tiburon does it, 92 323 did it, and my ol civic did it

The DRLs do not go off and on with the hand brake. It only goes off after you turn off the car, and in most until you open the door.

If you want to disable just your DRLS follow the relay instructions above. BUT, your lights will still be on all the time at night due to to the night sentinal. If you want full manual headlights follow these instructions

SEARCH... there is a page on getting rid of auto lights too... i just type it all up and accidently deleted it so im not gonna type it all again
