Gen5 How much would i4 springs lower a v6 camry.

i am checking out these springs: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW and i was wonderng how much would it lower my v6 car since this one is made for the 4cyl. Anyone out there selling theirs?

not sure....probably 1.5 like it says.....you can always email them about specifics.....i know that my SE wouldn't get much of a drop than it already is because it's already lower than the LE/XLE. but the eibach gets like 2.0 front/1.5 rear? i think? i forgot.

2.0 front 1.1 back i think. But they hella expensive the eibach ones. 180 + 40 s&H i might get them though. I got an Se too but the gap is gay, look.

rear drop will be the same, front will be about 1.5cm lower then it shouldve been with v6 springs.

OD switched off, even when not in 3rd results in major power loss/rpm drop.

lol yeah the SE.....its lower than the others but its still not near the ground.....that's why i'm getting a kit first

are you getting new shocks with the springs? i would hate to blow mine.

Naw i am just getting the spings, i am economically unstable so yeh lol. So you guys suggest i get em, i wanna put in a body kit 2 later on and if it goes 2 low i wont be able 2 so please tell me wats up.

ohh....go for it man....1.5 isn't that big of a drop...you'll still have plenty of room. but i suggest you can new shocks within a year.

The springs won't fit right!

The "04 and '05 SE use a different spring. I ordered a TRD set for those years and they didn't fit right on my '05. You can get them to work but the lower coils are not tapered in while on the '04 and '05 models, the lower coil section is tapered in. I've now got the '04/'05 Solara springs which have the right lower coil taper so they'll sit properly in the lower spring seat on the struts.

yeahh should always check for fitment. no it's only a 1.5 inches lower than your stock height.
