or retrim in leather... then you can get the upholster to add extra padding to make it more form fitting

Yeah, the ES300 are the "plug and play" leather seats that should fit in their since that's the Camry more luxurious sister I love her The custom upholstering sounds nice.. What's the typical tag price for a leather job?
The only problem with leather is that when it wears out, it looks ugly as hell. As well, I already do enough to keep my fabric seats nice, with leather you need to be weary of it and I truthlfuly don't like it when it ages and gets these wrinkles in it. Plus, it's hot in the summer and if any of ya'll have been to DC, it's this humid heat that just sucks and well, leather doesn't exactly scream "cool". You wouldn't put on a leather jacket in 98F weather, right
Also. know that if your car has two manual seats you will have to wire up the power seats and fuse them at the battery. In my case, the driver's side was power. I found a complete and perfect interior at the salvage yard. The seats were from a newer Camry 1995-1996, and both were power. Drivers side plugged right in, but the passenger side I had to wire up, not really a big deal but be forewarned. I paid $145 for a complete leather interior! So look carefully and you might find a similar deal.

hi adam, long time no see, how have you been?
i didn't know camry's had power seats. are you talking heated seats, or electrical adjustable seats?
btw, a $145 complete leather interior is a very rare find, don't get your hopes up too high

well theres a complete camry at my local junkyard and the seats are perfect no cracks or tears the only thing is that they are tan colored and i need either black or greak/ dark greay leather to match my car how hard would it be to dye the seats and can it be done:?
I've wondered the same thing...you could probably spray them with that paint that clings to vinyl, but I don't know if that'd be a good idea. As far as dying goes I don't think that's possible. You might as well take your factory seats and have them reupholstered with leather.

I been doing great, just been away from the computer a whole lot! Hope that all is well with you..
XLE Camrys (3rd Gen) had at minimum one power seat (electrically adjustable, with a motor) Oh and $145 is basically a steal, so you are right, don't get your hopes up too much But it never hurts to keeep your eyes open.
